Raymond McKenzie is Counsel to SLG’s New York Office. Raymond practices commercial litigation, with a focus on corporate and franchise law.  

Raymond has litigated corporate and franchise law matters in the courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia, and he has had extensive successes using alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods, such as mediation and arbitration, on behalf of small and medium-sized businesses, franchisors, franchisees, and individuals.  Such matters have included corporate disputes among shareholders, partners, owners, investors and members of corporations, LLC’s and partnerships, as well as cases involving breach of contract, fraud, misrepresentation, and breaches of confidentiality, non-compete agreements, nondisclosure agreements, franchise disputes, among others.

As a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising and as former Chairman of the Maryland Franchise and Distribution Law Committee, Raymond’s expertise provides a unique resource to SLG clients looking to branch out and develop their business in a manageable and strategic manner.
