Steven Pollack is Counsel to SLG’s New York Office. He has gained extensive experience in various legal fields, including intellectual property litigation, civil rights litigation, securities litigation, international arbitration and general commercial litigation.
Steven has recently successfully represented clients in lawsuits involving claims of trademark counterfeiting, cybersquatting, trademark infringement, unfair competition, false advertising, fraud, tortious interference with contract, breach of contract, and others. His focus on high-stakes commercial litigation has earned him the trust of mid-sized companies in bet-the-company litigation.
Steven cut his teeth as both a Litigation Associate and Special Counsel at the prestigious firm of Paul Hastings, where he represented brand pharmaceutical companies in their role as plaintiff in complex Hatch-Waxman litigation (i.e., pharmaceutical patent infringement claims) and as defendants with respect to allegations of patent infringement and invalidity. He further refined his litigation skills at Shelowitz & Associates PLLC, where he played a critical role in the firm’s various activities involving non-compete agreements, franchise agreements, unfair competition law, and copyright infringement.
Steven had the privilege of serving as a legal intern for The Honorable Ira B. Warshawsky, Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office (Appeals Bureau), and The Honorable Leonard B. Austin. As Co-owner & Legal Assistant of Adagio, a consumer-electronics start-up company, Steven gained a discrete understanding of what it takes to navigate the choppy waters of the start-up world from a legal perspective.
